Injections
Juvederm
Juvederm is a type of filler that helps to restore facial contours while also improving the signs of aging, such as wrinkles.Juvederm has a base of hyaluronic acid and is injected into areas primarily on the face, specifically the lips, cheeks, and around the mouth. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that already resides in the human body and is responsible for stimulating collagen production, which is important for plumping the skin. As we get older, the natural production of hyaluronic acid and collagen decreases, which is what causes sagging skin and wrinkles to appear.
